The model is disassembled by removing 4 screws from the underside of the chassis, one in each corner and lifting the body from the chassis.
The model as built comes with globes which are removed such that LEDs can be fitted.
The track pickup and motor wiring is reworked to be DCC compatible.
The power pack is wired to the decoder and fixed to the floor towards the rear of the model.
The speakers are fixed to the chassis floor with double sided tape. The decoder is hardwired and fixed in place as pictured.
LEDs are fitted to the body and finally, the body assembly is placed back down over the chassis and four small screws refitted.
