Disassembly of body from chassis:
1) Turn model upside down and place on a soft, supportive surface
2) Remove couplers and four screws next to fuel tank
3) Gently pull the body away from the chassis
The model comes with an iphone style speaker ex factory, which is replaced with the DCCSound premium speaker. Remove the factory fitted speaker from the motherboard, being held in place with double sided tape. Unsolder the two speaker wires at the motherboard.
Remove the 21 pin dummy plug and plug the 21 pin decoder in place as shown below.
Fit the DCCSound speaker to the motherboard under the speaker driver with some double sided tape (square of approximately 8x8mm). Ensure the corners of the speaker driver are not covered with tape as air needs to pass in and out of the driver when energised.
Test run the model then reinstall the body to chassis, refit the couplers and 4 screws under the chassis.
