Disassembly:

1) Gently splay out the lower edge of the body and lift it up and away from the chassis. Note there are 6 lugs, 3 per side holding the body to the chassis.

Installation:

1) Remove the 8 pin plug/PCB and set aside in a safe place.

2) Place the speaker on top of the passenger compartment. A small amount of glue may be used to hold is in place.

3) Wire the speaker to the 2 brown speaker wires.

4) Glue the two LEDs into the speaker assembly. Wire the two red (+ve) wires back to the 8 pin plug. Wire a 1000 ohm resistor to the Aux 2 purple wire from the decoder and connect the two LEDs' black wires to this resistorto form the lighting circuit. The sound project will need to be configured so a function key activates Aux 2 to enable the interior lighting.

5) Tape the decoder and any loose wires to the speaker using Kapton or equivalent tape.

6) Plug the decoder in. Note the direction of travel with this decoder plug orientation is with the motor bogie at the rear of the 2 car unit.

Reassembly:

Carefully refit the body, ensuring no detail parts or wires are damaged during reassembly.
