SRA 81 class by Auscision Models

To access the 21 pin plug, the body needs to be removed from the chassis.

Remove the coupler assemblies. Disconnect the MU cables at one end.

Gently splay the sides of the body out from the chassis, then pull the body assembly upward off the chassis.

Disconnect the lighting plug from the socket on the Auscision motherboard before totally separating the body from the chassis. Set the body assembly aside.

The 21 pin DC board and speaker/enclosure are removed. Two screws hold the enclosure to the chassis.

Next, fit the decoder (upside down/compact NEM660) and DCCSound premium speaker.

The speaker can either be direct soldered to the decoder's two speaker solder pads, or hardwired to the 2 pin speaker connector on the Auscision motherboard.

Next, refit the body wiring loom to the motherboard that was previously disconnected.

Finally, refit the body back on the chassis.
